St. Austin Catholic School prepares students to be: Christ-centered, academically strong, moral community leaders.
Non-scholae, sed vitae - meaning “we learn not for school, but for life."
This vision is felt the second you step foot on campus and is an embodiment of the goal of our staff and faculty members of educating the whole child and empowering students to become future leaders of tomorrow.
Be it known to all who enter here that Christ is the reason for this school. He is the unseen but ever present teacher in our classrooms. He is the model for faculty and the inspiration of its students.
A Community of Faith, Learning, and Action since 1917.
St. Austin Catholic School empowers each child to live life in the example our four CORE values as examples of God’s love to all:
Respect: Having regard for yourself and others, God’s word, fair and just authority, diversity within our society and accepting the right of others to hold different or opposing views.
Dignity: Knowing that, as God’s children, everyone has an innate right to be valued, respected and to receive ethical treatment.
Integrity: Being consistently honest, trustworthy, and conscientious of others in thoughts, words and deeds.
Community: Fostering a Christian environment where everyone is challenged to listen, learn, change and serve.
As a school founded in the traditions of Catholicism, but also the Paulist Fathers, our approach at St. Austin is framed through the lens of an apostolic mission which recognizes the Paulist tradition of inclusivity. You are loved and welcomed for who you are, where you are in your life. There is no need to change you into something that they feel like is the more ideal version of who they think you should be. You are allowed to be who you are.
When students are in an environment that they feel welcomes their unique backgrounds and experiences, it not only allows them to learn at their fullest potential, but it also allows them to feel safe. St. Austin, mindful of its mission to be a witness to the love of Christ for all, admits students regardless of race, color, national origin, and/or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. We strive to foster a listening community that respects differences, honors lived experiences and is welcoming to all.
